Tourism Cares

Tourism Cares is supporting Let’s Go Africa Foundation to enhance and preserve travel experience to Cape Coast, Elmina Castles and other Slave Forts and Castles in Ghana for future generations. Let’s Go Africa Foundation with the support from Tourism Cares will promote sensitive and sustainable development tourism to the Slave Castles of Cape Coast, Elmina and other Forts and Castles in the Central and Western Regions of Ghana. This will make visitors aware of the historic sites and increase tourism traffic from the United States.

In 1990, Mr.. Kwasi Bosompem, the Executive Director of Let's Go Africa Foundation, published the 1st edition of the book"Let's Go Ghana, A Visitors Guide to Tourism and Business opportunities in Ghana". The second and third editions were published in 1995 and 2007. About 10,000 of the books were donated to schools and institutions in the United States and this has resulted in an increased travel to Ghana from the United States. After two consecutive efforts by Let's Go Africa Foundation to Tourism Cares since 2003, Tourism Cares is now supporting Let's Go Africa Foundation to publish a "Hand book for an increased travel to the heritage sites in Ghana.
